Police Report: Clearfield Borough

The investigation is continuing into a burglary that occurred sometime after the evening of Oct. 10 at 114 S. Second St., Clearfield. During the incident, someone forced entry into a building and removed a small amount of cash from several desks. Police have estimated that damage is more than $500 to the building and its contents.
Police investigated a vehicle versus pedestrian accident at the intersection of East Cherry and South Third streets. Further, an 86-year-old Clearfield woman was crossing Third Street when a 51-year-old Clearfield woman was operating a vehicle on East Cherry Street and turning left onto Third Street. The woman subsequently struck the pedestrian who was transported to the Clearfield Hospital by ambulance. Police were assisted by the Clearfield Fire Department.
