John F. “Jack” Hughes Jr., 82, of Treasure Lake, DuBois died Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2013 at his son’s home in Reynoldsville.
Born Sept. 1, 1931 in Kittanning, he was the son of the late John F. Hughes Sr. and Margaret (Spense) Hughes.
Along with his brother, he was the owner/operator of Hughes Starr Automobile Dealership in DuBois for many years.
He enjoyed taking his fishing boat on Lake Ontario. He enjoyed hunting and especially loved spending time at his camp. He was an avid fly fisherman.
Mr. Hughes survived by his children Lynne Raup and her husband, Kirk of Bethlehem, John F. Hughes III and his wife, Susan of Reynoldsville and Susan Merolillo and her husband, Bob of Bangor; a brother, James Hughes and his wife, Sarah of Myrtle Beach, SC; and six grandchildren.
There will be no public visitation.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
