On Wednesday police responded to a burglary on the 200 block of South Highland Street. The victim told police that someone entered his residence and stole multiple items. The investigation is continuing, and anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact DuBois City police.
Police responded to suspicious activity Wednesday on the 100 block of West Scribner Avenue. The victim told police for the past two nights, someone has been trying to get into her residence. Further, she explained she’s been awoken to the sound of someone rattling her door knob. When she heard it last it was earlier that morning, and she observed a man walking away. The investigation is continuing at this time.
On Wednesday police were dispatched to the area of South Main Street and Spring Avenue for juveniles who were throwing bricks at moving vehicles. Upon arrival police spoke to the victim and witness who identified the juveniles. The three male juveniles were all under the age of 8 years old. Police contacted them and their parents about the incident. No charges will be filed against them due to their age.
