Police Report: DuBois City

On Sunday police responded to the area of West Long Avenue and North High Street, where two suspects were allegedly entering vehicles. Upon arrival police searched the area and then engaged in a foot pursuit with the suspects. Police identified an adult male and a female juvenile who admitted to stealing items out of the vehicles. Charges are currently pending at this time.
Police responded to an incident of criminal mischief on Sunday at a residence in the 800 block of West weber Avenue. The victim showed police where a four-wheeler spun donuts and ripped up their yard. Police have a suspect, and the investigation is continuing at this time.
Police responded to a hit-and-run accident Sunday in the 100 block of South State Street. The victim advised police that her vehicle was parked in the churching parking lot; when she left she noticed another vehicle had struck the driver’s side door. Her vehicle had sustained moderate damage. The investigation is continuing at this time.
