Police Report: DuBois City

On Wednesday police were dispatched for loud screaming in the area of the 500 block of West Long Avenue. Police checked the area but were unable to locate the source of any screaming.
Police were dispatched to an incident of criminal mischief Wednesday in the 300 block of South State Street. The victim told police that someone has been throwing beer bottles at their vehicles, causing damage. The investigation is continuing, and anyone with information is asked to contact DuBois City police.
Police were dispatched to a West Weber Avenue residence on Wednesday for the theft of a bicycle. The victim told police that his 15 speed, maroon- and silver-colored Next bicycle was stolen from his porch on Aug. 1. Anyone with information is asked to contact DuBois City police.
On Wednesday police conducted eight traffic stops and issued five citations and four written warnings.
