CLEARFIELD – The investigation is continuing into an incident during which a car was stolen from an East Market Street residence, the Clearfield Borough police reported today.
The vehicle owner told police that she allowed her boyfriend to borrow the vehicle while she was at work. Upon finishing her shift, her boyfriend did not return to pick her up, police said.
Upon returning home, she realized the following items were missing from her residence: a Kindle, a laptop, a Wii game console, two, flat screen televisions and bank/credit cards. She also told police that both her boyfriend and her car were missing.
The car, police said, is described as a Silver 2010 Suzuki Kizashi with a pink and camouflage-colored sticker across the windshield that reads “Country Girl.” Police believe the male may be heading back to his hometown in North Carolina.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Clearfield Borough police.
