Patricia E. Beck, 73, of Philipsburg died Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2013 at her home.
She was the daughter of the late Ellsworth Leslie Vaux Sr. and Vera A. (Kelce) Vaux born Oct. 9, 1939 in Philipsburg. She married Donald E. Beck on July 11, 1959 at the First Baptist Church in Philipsburg. He survives her at home.
Mrs. Beck was a member of the New Life Center in Philipsburg.
She was a 1957 graduate of the Philipsburg High School and had been employed with a number of area businesses throughout her working career.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Beck is survived by a daughter, Beverly R. Boulton and her husband, Randy of Philipsburg; a son, Barry A. Beck of Cleveland, OH; a sister, Janice A. Martin and her husband, Steve of Philipsburg; and two brothers, Ellsworth L. “Butch” Vaux Jr. and his wife, Sharon of Luthersburg and Terry R. Vaux of Chester Hill Borough.
She is also survived by five grandchildren, Misty (Boulton) Dixon and her husband, Merlyn, Dusty J. Boulton and Bethany C. Boulton, all of Philipsburg; Autumn Boop and Barry E. Beck, both of Vandergrift; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A private funeral service will be held at the Beezer-Heath Funeral Home, 719 E. Spruce Str., Philipsburg, with the Rev. John T. Dill officiating. Burial will be at the Philipsburg Cemetery in Philipsburg.
There will be no public visitation.
