A 23-year-old Chestnut Avenue woman reported Thursday that when transferring custody her estranged boyfriend called her names in front of their child. Police handled the situation without incident.
On Thursday Fairfield Inn employees reported that a 26-year-old New Jersey man who was staying at the hotel was causing a disturbance and waking up other guests in the hotel. The man also reportedly exposed himself to two female patrons. Upon police arrival, the man became belligerent with police. He was highly intoxicated and was taken to the Clearfield County Jail.
A South Main Street resident reported Thursday that two juveniles were throwing pop cans at passing vehicles. When he went out to confront the juveniles they got on a green four-wheeler and fled the scene. Police searched the area but could not locate them.
On Friday a vehicle driven by a 68-year-old Troutville woman pulled out of West Liberty Road onto state Route 119 into the path of a vehicle driven by a 33-year-old Sykesville woman, causing the two to collide. No injuries were reported, and both vehicles were towed from the scene.
An employee of Shop ‘N Save reported Friday that a 36-year-old DuBois woman wrote nine checks to the store that were returned to the store marked “Closed Account.” The total amount of the checks is $1,171.08. Charges are to be filed.
A Connecticut woman merged into the other lane of traffic on Rich Highway and did not see a vehicle driven by a 79-year-old Brookville man, causing the two to collide on Friday. Minor damage and no injuries were reported.
Police received a report of loud music in Treasure Lake on Friday. Upon arrival police found the source to be the Lakeview Lodge, where a band was playing at the pool. The situation was handled without incident.

On Saturday police pulled over a truck that was being driven on Blinker Parkway without its headlights. Police found the driver, a 28-year-old Sykesville man, to be intoxicated. The man failed several field sobriety tests and was taken to the DuBois Regional Medical Center for a legal blood draw. Charges are currently pending.
A 23-year-old DuBois woman reported losing her phone at the Friendly Tavern on Saturday. Her mother received a text from the phone that stated they found the phone and wanted to return it. When she attempted to call the phone, no one would answer. The investigation is continuing.
A 17-year-old boy lost control on of his vehicle on Thunderbird Road on Saturday, causing it to hit an embankment and overturn. It came to rest on its roof. The boy was taken to the DuBois Regional Medical Center for minor injuries. The vehicle was towed from the scene.

A 70-year-old Pittsburgh woman crashed into a cement pole in the Wal-Mart parking lot on Saturday. No injuries were reported.

A 21-year-old Reynoldsville man lost control of his vehicle on Kiwanis Trail on Sunday, causing it to travel over a bank. The man left the scene prior to police arrival. He was later located and told officers he was not hurt and didn’t realize he needed to call police.
A 53-year-old DuBois woman reported Sunday that she is receiving strange phone calls at her place of employment from an unknown male with an unknown phone number. The investigation is continuing.
On Sunday a 53-year-old man was traveling on the DuBois Rockton Road when he lost control of his truck and its trailer. As a result, it became stuck in a ditch. The vehicle was towed out and then driven from the scene. No injuries were reported.
