Suspicious persons were reported in the area of Walnut and State streets on Thursday. Police found one of the males had an active warrant issued for him. He was taken into custody and turned over to the Clearfield County Sheriff’s Office. He was placed in the Clearfield County Jail.
An incident of harassment was reported to police on Thursday.
A resident received a mailing that she’d won airline tickets. Police advised the resident that they believed the mailing was a scam.
The theft of a gasoline container was reported by a resident on McGee Avenue. Police also had a complaint about someone loitering and prowling in the area of Irvin Hill. Police will provide extra patrols to the area.
Vehicles were reportedly parked on the sidewalk in the area of McNaul Street. Police remind motorists that this is a violation.
A motorcyclist was traveling eastbound on State Street on Thursday and unable to avoid a dog that ran in their path. He lost control of his bike, which slid several feet. The motorcyclist sustained minor injuries and refused medical treatment.
A pedestrian was assisted by police Friday on Cooper Road.
A domestic disturbance occurred Saturday evening at a Pine Street residence. As a result, a Curwensville man was placed in the CCJ for public intoxication.
An incident of criminal mischief occurred in the Temple Heights area, where someone drove through a yard and caused damage. The investigation is continuing at this time.
