Police Report: Ridgway PSP

An incident of burglary occurred sometime between 5:30 p.m. July 22 and 9 a.m. Thursday at a seasonal residence along state Route 3001 in Millstone Township. Someone kicked in a main door, and once inside they rummaged through contents and stole a flat screen DVD player. Before leaving they opened the freezer, which spoiled all of the food inside it, and gained entry to a shed and stole a Husqvarna chainsaw and 10 gallons of gasoline. Also, before leaving they accessed a key to an all-terrain vehicle that was inside the shed and went “joy riding” in the yard, damaging it. Afterward they returned the ATV to the shed and fled the scene. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Ridgway-based state police at 814-776-6136.
