Police Report: Philipsburg PSP

An incident of aggravated assault occurred Sunday on West Presqueisle Street at the AMVETS Post No. 159 in Philipsburg Borough. During the incident, a 49-year-old Clearfield man and a 56-year-old Philipsburg man allegedly engaged in a physical altercation. The Philipsburg man sustained major injuries and was transported to the Clearfield Hospital. Charges are to be filed through the district court.
An incident of harassment occurred Thursday on Sleepy Hollow Road in Rush Township. During the incident, a father and son allegedly engaged in a verbal argument that turned into a physical altercation. The son left the residence on foot. Both reported minor injuries; neither wanted to file charges.
An incident of theft occurred sometime between July 5 and Sunday at the Windy Hill Village in Rush Township. Someone removed $34 from the victim’s wallet. The victim last saw the money July 5. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Philipsburg-based state police at 814-342-3370.
