Glenn E. Cummings, 81, of Wallaceton died Saturday, July 13, 2013 at his residence. Born Oct. 26, 1931 in Bolivar, he was the son of the late Edwin and Elva Stiner Cummings.
Mr. Cummings was a life-time member of the Woodland Church of Christ, Woodland.
He married Norma Jean Cummings on March 15, 1952 in Woodland. She preceded him in death on April 26, 2009.
He’s survived by seven daughters, Linda Cummings of Philipsburg, Elva Zierk and her husband, Ken of Plano, IL, Ruth Rowles and her husband, Ken of Clearfield, Debra Lonjin and her husband, Harley and Shirley Narehood and her husband, Tom, both of Morrisdale, Priscilla Patterson and her husband, Mark of West Decatur and Brenda Krupa and her husband, Dave of Greensburg.
Also surviving are four sons, Edwin Cummings of Maryland; Robert Cummings of Philipsburg; Charles Cummings of Clearfield and Donald Cummings and his wife, Cindy and David Cummings and his wife, Brenda, both of Morrisdale; a sister, Wilma Deyarmin of Bolivar; three brothers, Marvin Cummings of Florida, Duane Cummings of Indiana and Robert Cummings of Bolivar; 28 grandchildren; and 26 great-grandchildren.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and one brother, Donald Cummings.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Woodland Church of Christ with his son-in-law, Dave Krupa officiating. Burial will be in the Summit Hill United Methodist Cemetery, Morrisdale.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. until the time of services Tuesday at the church.
