Helen Jean Spade, 81 of Woodland died Friday, June 28, 2013 at the Clearfield Hospital.
Born July 9, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth and Loye (Maines) Luzier.
She was a member of the Pleasant Valley United Methodist Church. She enjoyed making crafts in her spare time.
She was employed at the Cigar Plant, Philipsburg and later was a housekeeper at the former Ramada Inn, Clearfield.
Surviving are three daughters and a son, Kimberly Cole and her husband, Doug of
Woodland, Shirren Holt of Clearfield; Ken Luzier and his wife, Deborah of Lancaster; and Lynn High and her husband, Clair of West Decatur; one brother, Harold Luzier; six grandchildren, Randy Cole and his wife, Candra of Curwensville, Edward Luzier of Philadelphia; Roger Cole and his wife, Amanda of Hyde, Ryan High and his wife, Sara of West Decatur; Brittany High of Philipsburg and Christy Brown and her husband, Travis of Olanta; 10 great-grandchildren; and her companion, Daryl Hummel of Clearfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Mary O. Webber; a niece, Patti J. Zimmerman; and former husband, Lynn E. Spade.
There will be no public viewing.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
The Bennett and Houser Funeral Home, 312 E. Locust St., Clearfield, PA 16830 is assisting the family with their arrangements.
