MaryAnn (Kushner) Johnson, 70, of Ginter died Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Tyrone Hospital.
Born Dec. 24, 1942, a daughter of the late George and Mary (Supenia) Kushner. On July 31, 1977 at St. Vladimir’s Ukrainian Orthodox Church, Smithmill she married Arthur Johnson.
She was Orthodox by faith.
She was a member of the Stephen Kandrach VFW Post 6321, Smithmill and the Madera Moose Loom #1172. She enjoyed four-wheeling, polkas, country music and working in her lawn.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, whom died July 31, 1997; two brothers, Wasco and Stephen; and a grandson, Donald George Morrison.
She worked in housekeeping at Windy Hill Village of Presbyterian Homes for 11 years and prior to that was a personal caregiver.
She’s survived by a daughter, Carolyn Morrison of Ginter; a brother, Joseph Kushner of Tonawanda, NY; three sisters, Theresa Dombrosky of Willowick, OH, Stella Phillips and her husband, Donald of Irvona and Velma Hampton of Mansfield, OH; two grandchildren, Michael and Katlyn Morrison; one great-grandchild, Wyatt Morrison; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In honor of Mrs. Johnson’s request, all services will be private.
