UNION TOWNSHIP – Two people were killed in an accident that occurred at approximately 12:45 p.m. today near the intersection of U.S. Route 322 and Browns Springs Road in Union Township, according to GantDaily.com news partner WJAC-TV.
Two juveniles also sustained major injuries in the accident. The juveniles were transported to area hospitals by medical helicopters. Officials haven’t identified any of the individuals who were involved in the accident.
Dispatchers confirmed that U.S. Route 322 was closed in the area for the accident investigation. There wasn’t any timetable so far as when the roadway would re-open.
The Pennsylvania State Police are investigating the accident.
