The Joseph & Elizabeth Shaw Public Library would like to thank all individuals and organizations that helped make the second annual Adopt-a-Book Fundraiser a great success.
Thank you to our vendors, Express Café and Gio’s BBQ of Woodland for the donation of your delicious treats. To Starr Hill Winery, Shaw Public Library thanks you for donating your time and wine for the wine tasting during the fundraiser.
Thank you to Tammy’s Gardens and Pat Bishop for the stunning floral arrangements.
We would like to thank Megan and Chris McGarry and Mark and Shawna Wurster for the beautiful music and Carol Kowalcyk, calligrapher, for the time spent inscribing bookplates.
Thank you to the Susquehanna River Arts Center member, Steve Hindman, for the assistance in setup.
In addition, we would like to express a sincere thanks to Erin Pierce, program coordinator of the Susquehanna Greenway Partnership for enhancing this year’s event with the photography display and dedication.
Thanks to the Joseph & Elizabeth Shaw Public Library Board of Trustees for providing refreshments and volunteering at the event and to the director and the staff members of Shaw Public Library who volunteered their time at the fundraiser.
