Margaret C. ‘Peggy’ Dominy, 76, of Curwensville died Monday, June 10, 2013 at the Christ the King Manor, DuBois. She was born June 5, 1937 in Harrisburg, a daughter of the late Russell and Sylvia (Demi) Condran.
Mrs. Dominy was employed as a bookkeeper for Home Health in Curwensville. Prior to that, she was a manager at JoAnn Fabrics and K-Mart, both of Clearfield. She had also previously been employed at Malloy True Value Hardware and Bell Telephone in Clearfield.
As hobbies, Mrs. Dominy enjoyed doing various types of arts and crafts.
She is survived by her husband, Frank L. Dominy, whom she wed Nov. 20, 1965; three children, Frank R. Dominy of Missoula, MT, Jeffrey A. Dominy and his wife, Laura of Grampian and Jennifer K. Dominy and her fiancé, Ian Reynolds of Colorado Springs, CO; a step-granddaughter, Allie Lippert; and a niece, Connie Preston and her husband, Gary of Sodus, NY.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her half-brother, Robert Condran.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Curwensville, with Pastor Richard Steuernagle officiating. Burial will follow in the Pine Grove Cemetery, Clearfield.
Friends will be received from 9 a.m. until the hour of services Friday at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the charity of donor’s choice.
