Minor injuries were reported after a two-vehicle accident Tuesday on the Port Matilda Highway in Rush Township. William Little, 35, and George Stratton, 48, both of Morrisdale, were traveling eastbound at the time of the accident. Stratton was following a tractor-trailer uphill when Little came up behind him. Little was unable to avoid the Stratton vehicle, which had slowed due to the slow moving traffic. Little rear-ended the Stratton vehicle.
Little sustained minor injuries and was transported to the Clearfield Hospital by Moshannon Valley Emergency Medical Services. Stratton told state police he had a minor back injury but declined any medical treatment. Both Little and Stratton were wearing their seatbelts. Little will be cited for the accident.
