Burton C. Rauch, 72, of Clearfield died Monday, June 10, 2013 at Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born Aug. 5, 1940, the son of Paul S. and Mary E. (Wisor) Rauch.
He was retired from the state’s Department of Transportation. He was Methodist by faith.
He was a member of the Clearfield Veterans of Foreign Wars F. Michael Sicks Post No. 1785, Moshannon Masonic Lodge No. 391 and a 50-year member of the Aerie #812 Fraternal Order of Eagles of Clearfield.
He’s survived by his son, Kenneth B. Rauch and his wife, Nancy and a daughter, Nina S. Cassick and her husband, Jerry, Jr., all of Clearfield; six grandchildren, Kendrea Neeper, Kristal Rauch, Candi Butler, Chad Butler, Tabitha Marlar and Gerilee Cassick, 12 great-grandchildren; three sisters, Norma Swatsworth of Curwensville and Leotta Parks and her husband, Gary and Kathryn Wisor, all of Mineral Springs; numerous nieces and nephews; and his second wife, Elaine Rauch of Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Linda Askey, three brothers, Samuel, Norman and Larry Rauch and his first wife, Marlene J. Donahue.
A memorial services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home Inc., Clearfield, with the Rev. Stanley Wisor officiating. Burial will be in the Bradford Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 12 p.m. until the hour of services Thursday at the funeral home.
