Deborah, K. (Grenus) Peters, 59, of Curwensville died June 4, 2013 at her home as the result of a structure fire. She was born Aug. 3, 1953, in Clearfield, the daughter of Anthony and May A. (Pitts) Grenus.
She worked at Shortway Products, Clearfield Cheese and various convenience stores. She was affiliated with the St. John Lutheran Church, Clearfield.
She belonged to the Curwensville Moose. She loved animals and enjoyed gardening. She had a good sense of humor and a gift of making people laugh.
She’s survived by a sister, Linda L. Houchins and her husband, Jack of Clearfield; a brother, Anthony P. Grenus, II and his wife, Mary of Woodland; a niece and two nephews, Craig Houchins and his wife, Kim of Clearfield and Anthony Grenus III and Jennifer Grenus, both of Woodland; and a great-niece and two great-nephews, Stacey Ann Houchins, Tyler Houchins and Jacob Houchins.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
