CLEARFIELD – In honor of national Older Americans Month, the ClearfieldCenter for Active Living and BrightHorizonsCenter for Emotional Wellness invite the public to attend an open house from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. Wednesday. The ClearfieldCenter for Active Living is located at 103 N. Front St., Clearfield.
In addition to numerous displays highlighting different Center activities, there will also be a memory loss screening, free blood pressure and blood glucose readings, and pulse oximeter (blood oxygen saturation) testing. Pennsylvania Property Tax and Rent Rebate Program applications will be available, as well as applications for the Senior $10 Vehicle Registration and PACE Program.
You can come learn about the center’s art and ceramics classes, and win a prize at our games table. You can also try your hand at Wii bowling, and if you’ve never played, instructions will be offered. Refreshments will be served. Be sure to visit each station to sign up for all the door prizes. Door prizes will be drawn at 11:30 a.m. and the winners do not need to be present.Â
