Informational Workshop Set for June 4
WEST DECATUR – Guidelines and application information is now available for non-profit organizations and individuals who wish to apply for support of up to $2,500 to fund an arts project with a public component during 2013-2014.
Through the Pennsylvania Partners in the Arts (PPA) Program, the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts (PCA) is making available opportunities through “Project Stream” grants. These grants can support community arts projects, which take place between Sept. 1 and Aug. 31, 2014. Application deadline is June 28.
Galaxy, the Arts in Education Program of Central Intermediate Unit # 10, which will be administrating this program for projects taking place in Centre, Clearfield, Clinton and Huntingdon counties, will be holding a free informational workshop in State College to discuss the application, the grant writing process and guidelines.
This informational workshop will be held at 12:15 p.m. June 4 at Schlow Library in State College. Pre-registration is requested by May 30. Attendees may bring a bagged lunch.
Several online grant writing webinars have also been scheduled on various days and times from May 22- 30. Advance registration is on the PCA website at www.pacounilonthearts.org under “Webinars and Presentations” found in the “Find it Fast” drop-down box.
