Robyn L. Grove, 55, of Beaver Falls, formerly of Port Matilda, died Monday, May 6, 2013 at her home. Born Oct. 20, 1957 in Philipsburg, she was a daughter of Norma E. (Carter) Grove, who survives of Port Matilda and the late Alfred William “Bill” Grove.
In addition to her mother, she is survived by a brother, Jeffrey L. Grove of Port Matilda, a nephew, Josh L. Grove and a niece, Amanda L. Grove.
She was preceded in death by her father, maternal grandparents, James Mason Carter Sr. and Emily K. (Rodgers) Carter and paternal grandparents, William I. Grove and Edna (Cramer) Grove Booth. She was a 1975 graduate of Bald Eagle High School and a graduate of South Hills Business School, where she earned a medical secretary degree.
She had previously worked at Mount Nittany Medical Center, State College, in the x-ray department and at Amerinet Central, Cranberry, in software training. She was a member of the Beaver Falls VFW Auxiliary and Cranberry BPO Elk Lodge #2249.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the David K. Dahlgren Funeral Home, 228 N. Centre St. Philipsburg, with Pastor Samuel D. Reese officiating. Burial will be in Port Matilda Presbyterian Cemetery.
Friends will be received from 7 p.m. – 9 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
