Ruth Irene Heichel, 90, of Troutville died Tuesday, May 7, 2013 at the home of her granddaughter in Troutville. Born Feb. 10, 1923 in Luthersburg, she was the daughter of the late Leo A. and Anna Mae (Burkett) Donahue.
She was married to Steven Kupko. He preceded her in death. Later, she married Eugene L. Heichel, who also preceded her in death.
She worked for Wurlitzer Jukebox in Tonawanda, NY.
She was cared for locally by her daughter-in-law, Janet Kupko of DuBois and her granddaughter, Carole Everett and her husband, Christopher of whom she made her home with. She is also survived by a brother, James W. Donahue of Luthersburg, numerous loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by two sons, James S. Kupko and Robert W. Kupko; three brothers, Charles, Leo A. Donahue Jr. and Norman C. “Nubby” Donahue; and two sisters, Mary Thompson and Ann Liebeck.
Friends will be received from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. Friday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with Pastor Terry Felt officiating.
Burial will be in Crown Crest Cemetery in Clearfield.
