I encourage voters to support my friend Clearfield County Commissioner Mark B. McCracken for Congress.
McCracken is an exceptionally strong candidate for the U.S. House. He has balanced budgets as a member of the Clearfield Area school board and as a county commissioner. He has helped county workers get affordable health insurance. And he has effectively opposed the opening of new landfills in central Pennsylvania.
When it comes to energy issues, McCracken doesn’t focus on drilling. He has promoted alternative fuels and played a leadership role in the launch of two new ethanol plants in Clearfield County.
Congressional races too often go uncontested. Voters in the 5th District this year have an outstanding choice in McCracken.
He is a man of integrity, humility and family values. He offers the good judgment, local experience and the common sense we need to get the Pennsylvania economy headed in the right direction.
