In reference to your recent article concerning Wes Weymers and Jim Ferguson, who have both dedicated their time and efforts over the past twenty years, to the reclamation of Curwensville Lake, I would like to say thanks. I remember a times when my father would bring me to the lake and we would catch an abundance of big fish. That was 28 years ago. Several years later the big fish became depleted because of the heavy fishing pressure, but now, with the help of Wes Weymers and Jim Ferguson, not to mention the Curwensville Anglers Restocking Program, Curwensville Lake has now been established as one of the best trophy fishing lakes in Pennsylvania. Again, I want to thank Wes, Jim and the Curwensville Anglers for their devotion to restore Curwensville Lake to it’s original prosperity.
