Police Report: Philipsburg PSP

An incident of harassment occurred on Monday at a Stahl Lane Extension residence in Taylor Township. A 24-year-old Tyrone man is accused of sending three text messages to a 21-year-old Tyrone woman after he’d been advised by another trooper not to have any contact with her. Charges have been filed through the district court.
An incident of theft by unlawful taking occurred Wednesday at the New Life Center in Philipsburg Borough. A 52-year-old West Decatur man’s son was attending an activity and placed his iPod under his jacket on a shelf. When he went to leave, he discovered his iPod was missing. The iPod is silver in color and has a maroon-colored rubber cover on it. The iPod is valued at $200. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Philipsburg-based state police at 814-342-3370.
