CLEARFIELD – On Feb. 28, the Clearfield Area High School held its annual Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica induction ceremony. This is the fourth year for a Spanish Honor Society at CHS; the chapter was installed by Ms. Emily Zimdahl as the Atacama Chapter.
Students had to meet the following requirements, which were being a Spanish II student with the intention of enrolling in Spanish III and Spanish IV, maintaining a 90 percent or higher cumulative average in all Spanish classes, maintaining an 85 percent average or higher in all other high school courses and conducting themselves honorably throughout their high school career.
Zimdahl noted she’s excited for 27 new inductees. She felt that they are a great group of students who will make the Atacama Chapter Proud.
