CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield Borough Police Department is investigating an accident that occurred in the early morning of May 25.
According to the report a Dodge truck left the roadway of North Second Street and struck a tree at the intersection of North Second and Reed Streets. The driver fled the scene on foot prior to police arrival.
The vehicle was towed from the scene and the driver was eventually found and transported to Clearfield Hospital for treatment of injuries.
CBPD officers were assisted by the Lawrence Township Police Department and Clearfield Fire Department.
