Sue L. Snedden, 77, of DuBois died Monday, March 25, 2013 at her home. Born April 18, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Arol “Panco” and Mary Jane (Frye) Kline.
In February of 1955, she married Kenneth E. Snedden Sr. He preceded her in death April 8, 2011.
She retired from Brockway Glass Company after many years of service.
She, along with her late husband, was very active in the DuBois Little League and the Gateway Midget Football’s DuBois Panthers. She loved antiques, and her family says she was the original “American Picker.” She loved to spend time with her family in her backyard swimming and picnicking.
She is survived by her children, Kenneth E. Snedden Jr. and his wife, Becky, Mary Sue Slattery and her husband, Robert Sr. and Patti Wells and her fiancé, Mark Burton, all of DuBois; two sisters, Rebecca Rittenhouse and her husband, Frank of Brockway and Marcia Golubski of DuBois; seven grandchildren, Mandi Slattery Bauer; Katie Snedden Dinkfelt, Robert Slattery Jr., Todd Snedden, Michael Wells, Jenni Snedden and Kayla Wells; and numerous great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her brother, Arol “Pete” Kline and a great-grandson, Ashton Gabriel Snedden.
Friends will be received from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Thursday at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Friday at the funeral home with Pastor David Bish officiating.
Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.
