Barry Lynn Tulowitzki, 59, of Clearfield died Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at his home. He was born April 16, 1953 in Philipsburg, the son of Samuel and Ethel A. (Cassick) Tulowitzki.
He had worked for the Clearfield Borough as a meter attendant and worked with his father at the Maytag Appliance Store in Philipsburg.
He served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam era as a staff sergeant. He was Methodist by faith.
He was a member of the John Lewis Shade Post #6 of the Clearfield American Legion and the Aerie #812 Fraternal Order of Eagles.
He’s survived by his father, Samuel Tulowitzki, of Crown Point, IN; a daughter, Lori A. Pennington and her husband, Michael, of Clearfield; two grandchildren, Samuel Tucker and Jacob Dalton Pennington, both of Clearfield; a brother, Donald L. Tulowitzki and his wife, Karen of Crown Point, IN; a sister, Kimberly D. Leib and her husband, Kerry of Harrisburg; and a number of nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ethel.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Bennett and Houser Funeral Home Inc., of Clearfield, with the Rev. John F. White officiating. Burial will be in the Emmanuel Cemetery, Winburne.
Military honors will be accorded at the funeral home by the Clearfield American
Legion Post #6 and the VFW Post #1785 Honor Guard.
Friends will be received from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. until the hour of the services Saturday at the funeral home.
