DUBOIS – A burn ban takes affect Tuesday in Sandy Township.
The announcement was made by the Sandy Township Fire Chief Randy William Beers Jr. According to the chief the fire departments have responded to a large number of fires recently.
The burn ban is indefinate and will remain in affect until the area gets more rain.
