UNIVERSITY PARK – Penn State University Police are seeking information in their investigation of graffiti incidents that have occurred during the past several months around the University Park campus in which an unknown individual or individuals have defaced several interior building walls, elevators, bathroom stalls, dumpsters and a water tower.
Several of the graffiti incidents have occurred at the following locations: Stuart Hall, Findlay Commons, Redifer Commons, Carnegie Building and Forum Building.
Police reported that while there always have been instances of graffiti in the past, they have not been on the scale of the recent occurrences.
University Police have instituted extra patrols around campus, and are asking the Penn State community to report incidents of graffiti and suspicious behavior to the police. A cash reward of up to $1,000 could be awarded to the individual(s) that provided the information that leads to an arrest.
