Harold A. Bundy, 84, of Reynoldsville went to be with his Lord on Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012. He died at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center Presbyterian.
Born June 9, 1928 in DuBois, he was the son of the late Raymond E. and Roxie P. (Spicher) Bundy.
On Jan. 3, 1948, he married Betty B. (Shaffer) Bundy. She survives.
Mr. Bundy had worked for 10 years at Troutman’s Department Store. He also was an over-the-road truck driver for Riverside Markets for more than 30 years.
He was a member of Temple Baptist Church. He was a manager in the DuBois Little League for many years.
He was a lifelong farmer who loved to garden and raise beef cattle. He loved sports and his family and friends. He especially enjoyed watching his grandchildren in all of their sports endeavors.
Mr. Bundy is survived by his children, Sandra Richards and her husband, Sam; Timothy Bundy and his wife, Lisa; and Harold “Roy” Bundy and his wife, April, all of DuBois; Bonnie Salvatore and her husband, Joe of St. Marys; Matthew Bundy and his wife, Debra of Columbus, OH; and Gary Bundy and his wife, Barbara of Tallahassee, FL.
Also surviving are one brother, Charles Bundy of Pittsburgh; two sisters, Irene Whitaker and her husband, George and Ida Mae Yale both of DuBois; 17 grandchildren, 10 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
He was preceded in death by three sisters, Freda Giles, Helen Christini and Lucille Bundy and one brother, Gene Bundy.
The family will receive friends from 2 p.m. – 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church in DuBois with Pastors Kevin Orndorff, Mark Montgomery and Dick Whitaker officiating. Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery.
