A 71-year-old DuBois woman and a 54-year-old Treasure Lake man were involved in an accident on Shaffer Road.

A 19-year-old Force man purchased video games Friday at the DuBois Mall and accidently left them at the mall. Someone picked them up and took them to Game Stop and cashed them in for money. The investigation is continuing.
A school bus driver reported Friday that a light blue sports utility vehicle passed the bus when it was stopped to let students on and off in Treasure Lake on two separate occasions. The investigation is continuing.

While patrolling Saturday in the area of Murray’s, officers found a vehicle with its lights on and running. However, there wasn’t anyone around. The vehicle was secured.

On Saturday, a 21-year-old Lucinda man pulled out of Ponderosa into the path of a vehicle driven by a 31-year-old DuBois man, causing the two to collide. Both vehicles were towed from the scene; no injuries were reported.

On Sunday, a 21-year-old Olive Avenue woman lost control of her vehicle on Oklahoma Salem Road, causing it to exit the roadway and hit a tree head-on. The driver left the scene prior to police arrival. No injuries were reported. The driver will be cited.
