CLEARFIELD – The launch of GANT v2 is right around the corner, coming on Jan. 2.
Gantdaily.com will have a new look and additional features designed to improve usability and increase reader traffic.
The CCEDC and the region’s economic development portal, clearlyahead.com has been greatly involved in promoting gantnews.com and the v2 project and assisting in the growth and infrastructure of the online medium in an effort to promote economic development opportunities and services throughout Clearfield County.
V2 (version 2) will help visitors of gantnews.com access news and information more quickly and easily. Visitors to the site will find the list of main content channel has moved to the top and a new site search and article archive systems will be implemented and powered by Google.
In addition, visitors will also find more interactive features, partner links and new Marketplace options.
GantDaily.com currently averages more than 7 million page views each month and delivers news via breaking news email alerts, rss news feeds and sms text (direct to cell phone) alerts.
The CCEDC has been closely involved with many of the economic development projects that have occurred in Clearfield County. In recent years, the CCEDC has worked with multiple biofuels and alternative energy projects, BioEnergy International LLC, Swan Biomass, Sunnyside Ethanol LLC and RiverHill Power. The CCEDC also recently announced the opening of the Clearfield County Alliance Park, formerly the home of FCI for manufacturing and technology-base businesses.
