An incident of harassment occurred sometime between 12:01 a.m. and 12:20 a.m. Tuesday on B Street in Philipsburg Borough. A 27-year-old Philipsburg woman and a 26-year-old Philipsburg man engaged in a physical altercation over text messages the woman had received. Charges have been filed through the district court.
An incident of harassment occurred sometime between 6:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. Thursday at a Sunnyside Hollow residence. A 42-year-old Port Matilda man and an 18-year-old Port Matilda man became involved in an argument during which they both shoved and grabbed each other. Neither man requested prosecution in this case.
An incident of burglary occurred at 1:30 a.m. Thursday at a South Eagle Valley Road residence. Someone entered a Julian woman’s residence through a rear door. Once inside, they realized the woman was there and fled on foot. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact the Philipsburg-based state police at 814-342-3370.
A log truck caught fire sometime between 1 p.m. and 2:09 p.m. Wednesday at a small sawmill operation along South Mountain Road near its intersection with the old Bald Eagle Pike in Taylor Township. The log truck, a 1977 Mack “DM,” had an attached loader and was damaged as a result. The investigation is continuing into the cause of the fire.
