Genia’s Hairstyling has received the Golden Broom Award for the month of September. The Golden Broom Award is a peer-to-peer program initiated by the Clearfield Revitalization Corp., (CRC) to promote storefront and sidewalk cleanliness. The broom has been passed by Gardners Candies, which won the award last month.
“We chose Genia’s Hairstyling for the Golden Broom Award, because she has done such a tremendous job with the landscape of her property,” said Patty Moyer of Gardners Candies.
Genia Tkacik, owner of Genia’s Hairstyling has maximized the front of her building space and has it decorated with cornstalks, mums and many fall decorations.
“This award means so much,” said Tkacik. “It is nice to be recognized.”
Tkacik looks forward to passing the broom in October.
