An incident of public drunkenness occurred at 9:20 p.m. Tuesday near the Moshannon Valley Emergency Medical Services building in Philipsburg Borough. A 52-year-old Philipsburg man was walking along the railroad tracks and fell as a result of his intoxication. He struck his head on the railroad tracks, which was witnessed by several emergency personnel. Upon state police arrival, it was determined the man was very intoxicated and he was arrested for the same. He was treated at the EMS building for injuries sustained in the fall; he refused further medical treatment. He refused to advise state police or anyone involved as to who he could be released to. He was subsequently transported to the Centre County Correctional Institution and released into their custody.
An incident of disorderly conduct occurred at 6:10 a.m. Wednesday on East Spruce Street in Philipsburg Borough when a 36-year-old woman made unreasonable noise, causing public inconvenience.
An incident of theft occurred sometime between April 1 and Monday on Coal Street in Osceola Mills Borough. Someone contacted two Osceola Mills adults and defrauded them of thousands of dollars in a sweepstakes scam.
An incident of theft occurred Sept. 20 on Hemlock Street in Philipsburg Borough. Someone accessed a 71-year-old Philipsburg man’s credit card information and made online purchases.
