BIGLER TOWNSHIP – No injuries were reported following a single-vehicle accident at 3 a.m. Saturday on Vulcan Road in Bigler Township, according to the Clearfield-based state police.
Kristy L. Warrick, 21, of Madera was traveling westbound and negotiating a left-hand curve when she lost control of her vehicle. State police said she was traveling too fast for the existing curve.
The Warrick vehicle traveled off the north shoulder and struck a dirt embankment. After impact, she continued westbound and her vehicle overturned onto its driver’s side. It came to a rest approximately six feet off the north shoulder, facing east.
Warrick wasn’t injured and was wearing her seatbelt at the time of the accident. She’ll be cited for driving on roadways laned for traffic through the district court in Houtzdale.
