CLEARFIELD – The recently opened Clearfield County Democratic Headquarters has expanded hours in preparation for the Nov. 6 general election.
The office is now staffed from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. Monday and Thursday and from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, and Saturday.
Any Clearfield County Democrat who needs assistance with voter registration or in obtaining a valid state-issued photo ID that meets the requirements of the new Pennsylvania Voter ID Law should contact the office at 316-6097 for more information.
“Volunteers are in the process of contacting county residents who are registered as Democrats but have been identified as possibly having an issue with their registration,” said County Democratic Chairman Rodger Baumgardner.
Any Clearfield County Democrat who is in need of transportation in order to obtain a valid voter ID for the November general election should contact the office, said Baumgardner.
The office is located on North Second Street in Clearfield next to the post office.
Volunteers are needed to staff the front desk from 3 p.m. – 6 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays.
