Two stray dogs were transported to the township kennel. The dogs were found in Upper Witmer Park.
Police checked the welfare of someone who was sleeping under the bypass bridge on Park Ave. A Texas woman was located and she’s has been on a cross-country walk.
A 58-year-old Clearfield man was arrested for public drunkenness and placed in the Clearfield County Jail.
An incident of possible gunshots fire was reported to police. It was listed as unfounded.
Police assisted emergency medical services with a psychiatric emergency. A female was transported to Clearfield Hospital for evaluation.
Juveniles were reportedly throwing rocks on South Third Street. Police located the juveniles and warned them about their actions.
A child abuse/custody incident was reported to police, while the complainant didn’t agree with the conduct of the mother toward the child. However, police determined that a crime hadn’t been committed and directed the complainant toward another agency.
Police served traffic warrant on a Clearfield woman for not paying fines. Officers were assisted by the Clearfield County Sheriff’s Department.
Several juveniles reportedly climbed onto a moving train near East Market Street. Police checked the train when it arrived at the R.J. Corman train yard. The juveniles were not located.
Police received numerous complaints about vehicles being entered in the East End area. Money, cigarettes and Mp3 players have been stolen. Police ask that residents to keep their vehicles locked at all times.
Police assisted the fire department at a Spruce Street address for the odor of smoke in the building.
A necklace was found on Nichols Street and turned into police. The owner can claim the necklace at the Clearfield police station.
