Mildred H. (Klinger) Woods, 95, of Scottsbluff, NE and formerly of Ansonville died Wednesday at her residence. Born March 22, 1917, she was the daughter of the late Harvey and Grace (Bloom) Klinger.
She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Plattsburgh, NY. She was employed with Occiddental Petroleum in Niagara Falls, NY until her retirement.
Mrs. Woods attended the Clearfield Area High School.
She married Earl W. Woods on Dec. 12, 1933 in Hagerstown, MD. He preceded her in death on Sept. 8, 2003.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by one granddaughter, Amy Beth Wooden, five brothers, William, Harold, Charles and Kenneth Klinger and Robert Stevens and two sisters, Lydia Knepp and Kathryn Rishell.
She’s survived by two daughters, Sandy Wooden and her husband, Ronald of Scottsbluff, NE and Carol Lombard and her husband, James of Cadyville, NY.
Also surviving are four grandchildren, Pam Gibb of Scottsbluff, NE; Rhonda Trojan and her husband, Bobbie of Fairbanks, AK; Matthew Lombard of Roanoke, VA and Andrew Lombard and his wife, Michele of San Diego, CA; six great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Sunday at the Reidy Cemetery, Wallaceton with Mrs. Woods’ son-in-law James L. Lombard officiating. Burial will be in the Reidy Cemetery.
