Pipe work makes daytime closure & detour necessary
CLEARFIELD – Daytime pipe work will close Route 1003 (Mount Zion Road/Martin Street Extension in Clearfield again tomorrow. PennDOT will continue working in the area until about 6 p.m. today, when the road will temporarily open. Work will resume at 7 a.m. tomorrow. The project is expected to be complete by 5 p.m. tomorrow.
Drivers will be able to use U.S. Route 322 and Turnpike Avenueto get around the closure. Crews from PennDOT Clearfield County Maintenance will perform this work, which is located near the entrance to the Central PA Speedway. All work is weather and schedule dependent.
Drivers are reminded to obey posted speed limits, follow detour signs and always buckle up.
