- A suspicious vehicle was reported in Country Club and police located an unoccupied vehicle. A registration was obtained for the vehicle.
- A domestic dispute occurred at a Hyde establishment when a woman allegedly shoved her husband.
- An incident of trespass occurred on Chevy Lane, where two known suspects were on the caller’s property and might have caused damage. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
- A domestic dispute occurred at the Lawrence Park Village and police spoke with witnesses who reported one hadn’t occurred. It was the second time police were dispatched to this apartment for a disturbance for witnesses to say one didn’t occur. The complainant had left the area prior to police arrival and didn’t contact police herself on either occasion.
- A woman was assisted in obtaining an emergency protection from abuse order. The man was served with the PFA order.
- A stranded motorist was assisted on state Route 879.
- A suspicious man was reported at the McDonald’s located in Wolf Run.
- Two people were reportedly hitchhiking at the Wal-Mart intersection.
- A loud music complaint was reported to police on South Second Street. The person agreed to turn their music down.
- Police responded to SR 879 to check the welfare of a suspicious man. Police found two people who were panhandling for money to get to Indiana.
- Police are investigating an incident of harassment by communication that occurred, where a known suspect contacted a local business after being enjoined from doing so. Charges are currently pending.
- Police fingerprinted a resident for a background check for employment.
- Police are investigating a PFA violation after a known suspect attempted to contact his estranged wife.
- Police were contacted about two lost dogs. One is named Meeka and is a pit bull mix. It has brown and white hair. The second is named Murphy, and it’s a light-colored pit bull puppy. The dogs were loose in the Mount Zion/Martin Street area. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
- A domestic dispute occurred along South Second Street. Police arrived and heard yelling inside one of the apartments. At that point, police knocked on the door and spoke with both parties. Neither party wanted to file a report. Police informed both if they returned one or both of the offending parties would be placed in CCJ.
- Loud music was reported in the area of Village Road. Police searched the area, but the noise wasn’t repeated. They cleared without any incident.
