BECCARIA – Bus stop fights are expected with children, but when they involve people in their 20s and 30s, the police tend to get involved.
A 31-year-old Coalport woman reportedly approached a 28-year-old Irvona woman while at a bus stop on North Hill Street Wednesday afternoon. The older woman then began to verbally abuse the younger woman, state police at Clearfield report.
The incident escalated, with the 31-year-old striking the 28-year-old in the side of the head.
There were no injuries, and medical treatment was not required.
The investigation continues, and charges could be filed in the incident.
