CLEARFIELD – The Clearfield area boil water advisory has been lifted.
As of 12:50 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 7, the state Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) has lifted the boil water advisory that was in place for all customers of the Clearfield Municipal Authority.
All required tests have been lab certified as being free of any potential contaminants and the testing reports have been submitted and accepted by the state DEP.
As is normal after a line break, customers may still experience some pockets of turbidity and air in the lines. This is no cause for alarm.
We want to thank our customers and businesses for being patient while we worked through the problems caused by the large water main break, and express our deep gratitude for the community’s outpouring of encouraging words, offers of help and warm beverages and food that were brought to us. Your kindness and support have touched us deeply, the CMA states.
