CLEARFIELD – Tuesday was the 2024 Presidential Election in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
According to the Clearfield County Government Web site, the county has 48,506 total registered voters. In Tuesday’s election, 40,415 ballots were cast with 32,771 being in-person and 7,644 being absentee/mail-in.
Total voter turnout was 83.32 percent.
Voters made their selections for U.S. President, Congress and Senate, as well as Pennsylvania Attorney General, Auditor General and Treasurer and state House and Senate, which are found below.
All results are unofficial until certified by the Clearfield County Board of Elections.
We did have a bomb threat and had to relocate to the Clearfield Presbyterian Church to complete the mail-in count, Commissioner Chairman Dave Glass stated, adding that “cowardly threats” will not deter us; the count is complete (aside from international, provisional and a few late-arriving mail ballots, which we will process Wednesday).
