BOGGS TOWNSHIP – The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) has announced that work on a bridge improvement project on Route 504 in Boggs Township, Centre County, will begin Tuesday, July 23.

This project will improve safety and ride quality for motorists by improving the overall condition rating of the structure.

The bridge spans Wallace Run between Unionville and Milesburg on Route 504 (Alternate Route 220) near Snow Shoe Mountain Road.

Temporary traffic signals will be in place, controlling an alternating single-lane traffic pattern while this work is completed. Work will include concrete beam repairs, concrete deck repairs, paving, placement of pavement markings and related construction.
