Mature Resources Area Agency on Aging Announces Return of Bus Trips

CLEARFIELD – Mature Resources Area Agency on Aging (MRAAA) has announced the return of its bus trip programing.

“Prior to COVID, the agency had so much fun with so many people taking our bus trips,” expressed Alice Pollock, agency representative.

We traveled to places like Hershey Gardens, and had a Turkey Hill experience making ice cream, she said, in addition to visiting many museums, going on shopping trips, visiting Washington D.C., to enjoy the cherry blossoms among others.

Aug. 21, the agency invites the public along to witness one of the Bible’s most hope-filled stories as Daniel comes to life in this brand-new original stage production from Sight & Sound Theatres.

Tickets are non-refundable and must be paid in full by Aug. 5. A $50 nonrefundable deposit is required upon registration.

To reserve your spot, stop by the MRAAA, 116 S. Second St., in Clearfield, or any of the agency’s Centers for Active Living (Clearfield, Coalport, Kylertown or Mahaffey).

Tickets include Fullington Bus transportation to and from the event, Sight & Sound ticket and a family-style meal at Hershey Farms.

The bus will depart Aug. 21 from the Clearfield Walmart store at 6 a.m., and return around 9 p.m.

Programs and services of agency are funded in part by the Pennsylvania Department of Aging, Mature Resources Foundation and local and consumer contributions.
